Upcoming Spring Classes, Groups and Events!

I teach childbirth and newborn classes, run parent groups for parents of newborns and host special events and workshops each season for parents and babies that are FUN, HELPFUL and ACCESSIBLE. Check out what's upcoming this Spring!

Spring Classes, Groups, and Events for Parents and Babies

Newborn Refresher Class for Grandparents

  • One 2-hour session
  • Are you about to become a grandparent? Grandparenting is a unique and rewarding experience, but it can also come with its own set of questions and challenges, especially in today's world of modern parenting practices.
  • This class is designed to empower you with the knowledge and skills you need to be the best support system for your children and grandchildren during this exciting journey, especially in the first few months after baby arrives. We will cover topics like understanding modern parenting, communication and boundaries, ways to support your children as they become parents, newborn care, sleep, feeding and more!
  • Offered In Person: Needham
  • Monday February 12th from 5-7pm​​
  • The Highrock School in Needham
  • Includes all supporting materials.

Spring Postpartum Parent Group

  • Meet other new parents in the same stage as you and your baby, celebrate this time, and find support through others like you.
  • In person Needham, MA (Virtual if necessary)
  • 7 meetings - Thursdays - from 12pm-2pm ​
  • Perfect for parents of babies 0-4 months of age and expecting parents with a due date early on in the group.
  • We'll talk about newborn baby and new parent topics like feeding, sleep, things to do with baby, developmental stages, returning to work, etc.
  • Meet, Talk, Learn, Connect, and Relax​!
  • $175 per family. $15 off if you refer a friend who signs up

Newborn Masterclass

  • Four weekly 3-hour sessions.
  • Learn all things postpartum prep, what it's really like, newborn care, the first few days, feeding, sleep, what's normal, newborn development etc.
  • This offering is unique. It's not only a Masterclass but also a New Parent Group where you'll build your village with other expecting parents in the same stage of life. Learn together.
  • Offered In Person: Needham (virtual if necessary)
  • 4 Evenings per session 6:15-9:15pm.
    • Tuesdays March 12, 19, 26, April 2 ​from 6:15-9:15pm
    • Wednesdays June 12, 19, 26, July 10 from 6:15-9:15pm
  • First and last half hour dedicated to New Parent Group time. Opportunity to meet and get to know other expecting parents, build a support community and make new friends.
  • Includes all supporting materials.
  • ​Combine with a Childbirth Masterclass for Combo Rate: $599 for 8-week Masterclass (savings of $139 if you book the full masterclass package).

  • Learn all things labor prep, how to know you're in labor, when to go to the hospital, comfort measures, navigating the hospital birth, etc.
  • This offering is unique. It's not only a Masterclass but also a New Parent Group where you'll build your village with other expecting parents in the same stage of life. Learn together.
  • Offered In Person: Needham (virtual if necessary)
  • 4 Wednesday evenings from 6:15-9:15pm:
    • May 15, 22, 29, June 5
  • First and last half hour dedicated to New Parent Group time. Opportunity to meet and get to know other expecting parents, build a support community and make new friends.
  • Includes all supporting materials.
  • ​Combine with a Postpartum Masterclass for Combo Rate: $599 for 8-week Masterclass (savings of $139 if you book the full masterclass package).

Create Art with Baby Event

  • Hosted by Hilary (that's me!), a certified Postpartum Doula and Parent Group Leader
  • What: Get together with other parents and make adorable art using your baby's footprints.
  • Projects purchased on site (priced as listed)
  • Who: Perfect for parents + babies 0-12 months
  • When: Friday, April 26, 10am-12pm.
  • Where: In-Person at The Painting Place in Wellesley, MA
  • Cost: $18 entry ticket per adult. Babies free!
  • Come make a special keepsake to remember these precious days or make Mother's and Father's day gifts for moms, dads and grands!
  • I'll be on site to help with your baby. Please feel free to take your time, take breaks, feed and change your baby, etc.
  • Snacks, drinks and raffle entry ticket included!

Hi! I'm Hilary (she/her) and I'm so glad you're here! I started my work as a Doula supporting families with new babies in 2019. But I really started in 2008 when I became pregnant with my first child. My passion for helping parents to navigate the amazing and sometimes crazy transition to becoming parents was born when I became a new parent myself.
